In the late February of 2020, we had a prospective client cancel a scheduled plant tour due to the onset of the pandemic. Everyone was disappointed, however we thought it was prudent we not only cancel that tour, but put in place further protocols with regard to how we best protect our employees as well as our clients and vendors who visit us from time to time.
We immediately instituted a work from home policy for sales, customer service and estimating, and established “safe social distancing” in our press room, bindery, mailing services and pre-press departments for those positions that obviously cannot work from home. In mid-June we implemented a program to carefully bring the staff back to the building, but not before we changed our office space to accommodate social distancing and require all visitors to wear a mask while in the building.
During this transitional period, we have had a variety of requests from both existing and potential clients to take a virtual tour of our manufacturing facility as they too begin to get back to business. Those requests to visit our plant remotely have now been turned in to an information video on Taylored Printing and our capabilities, and we can’t thank our good friends and client, Consosciate Marketing, enough for helping us make this happen.
